I keep waiting and waiting to update this, because I don’t think that consistently doing so would make for much in the way of news.
Currently entering my junior year of college. Nearing the end of my second novel. I’m writing lyrics and experimenting with music on the side because I want to be able to venture out further with confidence that I can do anything that I set my mind to. I may end changing my college major, though. I do enjoy foreign languages, but I don’t think it’s a job that I want to do for the rest of my life.
2015 has been pretty horrible to me; nothing but a bevy of injuries, missed opportunities and ruined friendships. I won’t put any expectations on 2016, though.
Alright, so I am currently trying to win the contest that’s happening athttps://tablo.io/ to gain a publishing contract. The contest is based on how many people go to Tablo and register (for free) and subscribe to my book, as well as read it. They measure the analytical aspects and the top three with the highest and best rated novel wins the chance to be picked up by a publishing company.
If you can only access it from mobile, there’s a mobile app called Tablo Reader, available for iOS and Android that you can download.
It’ only 3.07 MB and you can access the book from there too. It is also free.
All I ask is that you help me with this. I’ve never won anything a day in my life, and winning this (even if it is just this once) would make everything turn around.
You don’t have to pay for anything. All you have to do is read. Here’s what you do:
1. Go to Tablo.io
2. Sign up (again it’s free!)
3. Search for Ezra Zydan
4. Subscribe to the Tales of the Firewing novel, currently in progress
5. Keep up with the updates (I will post about those as soon as I update more)
Boy, oh boy! In the midst of writing my second novel, I managed to get out of the state and attend my first anime convention. It only took me twenty-seven years to do it, but better late than never, eh?
It took place on my birthday, and I cosplayed as Wolverine’s son, Akihiro Daken. Most people didn’t even know who I was, but those that did made me feel like doing the cosplay was worth it. I totally plan on doing more in the future and attending as many conventions as I can because the experience. My word, the experience was BEYOND worth it.
Journalister is finally 100% live!
I’ve been busy updating stories and publishing works on the site left and right.
I’ll be short here, because I have more work to do for it later, but for now you can check out these specific works that will be linked below:
The potential for forgiveness is always there, it just takes time for adjustment most often than that. People aren’t accustomed to changes that don’t line up with their inclinations, especially those that are more inclined towards religion and its negative aspects.
2005-06 was a blur for me, mostly because all I recall is my Mum and Da getting into a fight with me because of my not meeting their expectations. When I say ‘expectations’ I mean that I didn’t want to do what they wanted me to do, nor was I ever (and I still am not) planning on getting married to a male/female/tree/whatever. From there, we didn’t talk for over a 5 year period, and it was all due to the fact that I wasn’t who they wanted me to be. Things settled, and I ended up making changes that led to me wanting to further my education again, and if I didn’t make the call I did WHEN I did, I wouldn’t be attending college for free today. We reconciled after a good week of consistent talking, and while it was a rocky return to living with them (we argued a lot and it got especially bad when I tore my rotator cuff), things are pretty good between us.
Unless your parents are selfish/psychopaths, I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t accept you as you are, even if it takes some time. They should hopefully realise that they are not you, and your sexuality doesn’t affect them in any way whatsoever because each person has their own life to live.
Individual happiness should not be relative to familial happiness.
Whoo! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’ve been a bit busy lately. I won a poetry contest that was sponsored by the college I attend (I had no idea I was going to be in it until after I walked in late from taking a test). I’ll link you to the poem I wrote that won below!
I’ve also been working on a few novellas that will be expanding the view of the Anteran and Aetherian universes. They will provide back stories and insight to characters both old and new. Since I’m out of school and searching for a part time job, I figure that in the mean time this is something that I will be focusing my time on. One of the novellas will be free, while the other one will be $1.99. They won’t be released in full until September, while the second book in the Firewing series will be released in October.
Also, let me apologise for being away for too long. I’ve been a busy birdy, haha.
The first chapters of each novella will also be linked below.
